Internet Customer Growth Marketing Comm's
Internet Customer Growth Marketing Comm's
Specialist | Relationship management
England | London
Over 10 years ago a historic revolution began - the online revolution. Now 80% of the UK population have Internet access and more and more people now depend on it to find information, shop, and to do their banking. Lloyds Banking Group is at the forefront of helping customers to do their banking online, and at the end of 2009 a total of 6.86 million of our customers actively use either the Lloyds TSB, Halifax or Bank of Scotland online services to do their banking. And the number of customers banking online is growing every year.
Currently we welcome 800,000 more customers to our LBG Internet banks each year. This means that the number of customers banking online is growing by 11% each year, and whilst this growth rate in itself is startling analysis shows that some of our competitors are helping over 20% of their customers discover the benefits of Internet Banking each year. And no wonder they are helping more customers to get online, there are benefits for our both our customers but also for the bank. Online customers are -
less likely to take their banking to a competitor
more satisfied with the service they receive and provide us with a higher NPS score
more engaged with our services generally and tend to buy more products across all channels
cheaper to service.
Therefore helping more of our LBG customers to bank online is a big opportunity and this has been recognised because it a key strategic priority for the Retail bank in 2010. The aim is to aim to force a step change in the LBG active user growth rate in 2010, deliver a million new active users and build a foundation for accelerated growth from 2011 onwards. It a massive challenge and the successful candidate will be at the heart of it.
In this role “Marketing assistant - Internet Banking Active User Growth” the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering HBOS active user growth through the delivery of effective online and offline comm's.
