An exciting opportunity has been created within the UKRB Divisional Cost Management team. Being on a contract/secondment basis for a maximum of 18 months (minimum 12 months), the key purpose of the role is to provide support to the Divisional Cost Management team. The role holder will predominantly be involved with FTE planning/forecasting and reporting but will also be required to support cost reporting requirements. The role will be based in Halifax.
The role exists within the wider UKRB Divisional Cost Management team based in Halifax and Bristol; the team's primary purpose is to provide cost & FTE insight to the Retail Finance Director and Retail Group Executive Director, exercising great cost control in order to ensure targets are met across Retail division.
The team works closely with stakeholders in Retail Reporting and Forecasting teams as well as with BU finance colleagues and teams within Retail Integration Finance, HR and Group Finance.
The role provides excellent exposure to the Retail cost and FTE monthly reporting, planning and forecasting processes along with many new challenges in ensuring accuracy of data, as well as wide ranging contact with colleagues across Finance and HR. The role will mainly involve the use of SAP BW, Hyperion Planning, Excel and PowerPoint.
The role requires a confident, well organised and disciplined individual with a ‘can do’ approach, and the ability to respond and deliver to tight deadlines.
