Senior Manager Business Risk & Compliance

Consumer Banking is a significant business unit comprising the current accounts, credit card and loan businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development of, and manage, business risk in a way that supports our relationship strategy and helps the business to deliver sustainable growth, meet customer needs, defend our reputation, whilst controlling its risk profile in line with agreed appetite.

The central risk team is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of controls and policies for governing business risk across Consumer Banking, so that our risk management capability becomes an area of competitive leadership supporting our business goals.

The role sits within the Consumer Banking central risk team reporting into the Head of Business Risk, Consumer Banking, and carries specific responsibility for development of risk reporting within Consumer Banking and utilisation of the monitoring team to proivde testing and assurance of risk controls and compliance across the Cards, Loans and Banking businesses. These will include Operational Risk & Fraud, Compliance & Regulatory and Monitoring & Assessment matters.
