Project Support

Loans will develop and deliver an agenda of innovation to continuously improve credit decision making within the Loans business, so that our credit capabilities become a key pillar of our overall competitive advantage. The business impact will be to deliver benefits running into many millions of pounds, whilst supporting the growth aspirations of the business, protecting against downside risk, and improving customer treatment.

Setting standards for excellence in project leadership, and ensuring these are embedded into BAU, development of a world-class team through coaching, recruiting and talent management will be key to success. Proven abilities are required in championing and managing change, controlling execution in line with management intent, and leading projects through to successful attainment of agreed objectives. Success will require the development of strong relationships with colleagues across the business and the ability to engage support and resources to land initiatives, seeing through to implementation and overcoming resistance and obstacles where encountered.

The role will report into the Senior Manager Projects & Implementation - Loans.
