International Private Banking is a business within the Wealth & International Division dedicated to looking afteer clients with investible assest in excess of £20million. Due to our expansion plans we are looking for an experienced high calibre senior relationship manager (private banker) based in Scotland.

Role Definition
To be the trusted adviser to clients with investible assets in excess of £20m. Responsible for the acquisition of new UHNW (£20m +) and HNW (£1-20m) clients both within the Lloyds Banking Group as well as clients who are new to the Lloyds franchise, and the ongoing profitable management of these client relationships.
The individual will be expected to deliver £160m of net new assets annually – split across UHNW/HNW and within/new-to Group. Additionally responsible for the ongoing relationship management of the UHNW clients, these assets should grow at 5% (independent of market). Revenue expectations are between £1.5m and £3m annually.
The Senior Private Banker will have proven business acquisition experience and a market focus in the UK UHNW and HNW market both UK resident and Resident Non-Domicile (RND). He or she will need to be strongly sales orientated, and are likely to be CF30 qualified – or of equivalent calibre.

Core Responsibilities
Client Acquisition - Within Group
• Work with Corporate RMs to identify suitable clients to deliver ‘whole-of-group’ capabilities., by being seen by Corporate RMs as an integral part of their ability to deliver to their client.
• Demonstrate significant revenue opportunities to Corporate teams to facilitate client engagements
Client Acquisition - New-to-Group
• Identify prospective clients from prior client relationships who would value the new proposition, and introduce them to the Group – becoming Relationship Manager for UHNW clients, and ensuring appropriate RM for HNW.
• In a co-ordinated approach with Desk Head, approach newly identified prospects outside the franchise using personal network and Group contacts
Relationship Management
• Deliver strategic advice to clients, co-ordinating the relationship to deliver increased asset growth.
• Provide generalist insight to each asset class and work with Client Adviser, Credit Specialist, Personal Banker and Wealth Structuring Specialist to deliver service and revenues through each channel.
Team Development
• Manage, motivate, develop, coach and appraise team members in attracting new business, so that their individual and collective performance delivers stretching business goals.
Product Development
• Propose and debate new ideas for investments for clients
• Manage the introduction of changes to systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve best in class private banking
