Key purpose of the Job:
To manage and support the delivery of the Divisional resourcing strategy by working in close partnership with the Resourcing Managers / Resourcing Business Partners and with strong direction from the Divisional Head of Resourcing.
Dedicated by Division, this role will apply its Divisional and Business Resourcing knowledge to the successful implementation, engagement, project management and successful delivery of recruitment campaigns – ranging from large scale volume recruitment management to direct hands on management of specific specialist roles.
To coordinate and communicate divisional resourcing activities such as; demand planning, MI Reports and implementation of Group Policy, Process and Practice. To ensure specific divisional and group resourcing projects are aligned and meet the needs of both the business and the Centre of Excellence.
This role will have ownership for internal customer (Hiring Manager and HR) and candidate satisfaction, and is key in ensuring process and recruitment supplier governance and control. Working closely with the business to ensure best practice recruitment processes are adopted.
Accountabilities:
• Work with divisional resourcing managers to implement Policy, Process and Practice from the Resourcing Centre of Excellence to ensure best practice recruitment is undertaken in the division
• Working closely with the Recruitment Operations team to provide the most effective Resourcing support to the business.
• Management (indirect and direct) of permanent and temporary hiring. Where required engaging the LBG suppliers of choice, ensuring agreed Policy and Process is adhered to by all stakeholders.
• Engagement of key business relationships, to ensure robust planning, participation, process control and delivery. To support the business customers directly or through advice, training and guidance.
• Ensure only agreed hiring routes and suppliers are engaged, supporting the business on best practice process and policy for the benefit of the Group. Providing analysis and ideas to Resourcing Business Partners are innovative and new ways of working; and recommendations on necessary hiring supply route changes.
• Manage the collation of data for recruitment demand and forecasting for the specific areas of responsibility. Responsible for the tracking & provision of MI for their area, and work with the Divisional Resourcing Business Partners to ensure that the data is checked, tested, challenged and reported as required.
• To implement various resourcing communications (e.g. for forecasting process) to the resourcing team after communications content has been written and approved by Divisional Head of Resourcing. To manage communication process of all resourcing related news.
• Work with Recruitment Ops to build appropriate reports to meet the needs of divisional MI requirements (cost per hire, time to hire, attraction source etc.) and deliver both up to the group CoE (e.g. diversity M.I.) and within the divisional structure to ensure data requirements are delivered on time and in a consistent and accurate format.
• Use project and people management skills to ensure delivery and governance of all recruitment activity.
• Utilise assessment and selection skills to support recruitment activity in the business
• To work in partnership with group and share knowledge on the use of up to date assessment and selection tools, leading edge attraction methods and legal and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records of all terms of business and rates agreed with external suppliers, to monitor and process recruitment related invoices for the division and ensure payments made are within PSL and are accurate. To work with finance and procurement to ensure any issues are reported.
• Work with Recruitment Ops to implement where necessary and manage the rollout of a Recruitment Training programme and take responsibility for managing the associated logistics with nominated Hiring Managers (e.g. scheduling and delegate invitations). Progress reports on recruitment training in the division.
• Develop and implement a framework to ensure that trained line assessors are utilised effectively to assess in the regions or specific businesses.
• Provide the link between divisional resourcing, CoE, and Recruitment Operations on Schools and Colleges attraction strategy, working with the Resourcing Managers on a consistent and robust approach for this new route to market.
• Collate required feedback from the business teams on new group initiatives for the Resourcing Business Partners to ensure any potential improvements or specific divisional needs or issues are considered prior to full implementation of changes / new policy / process.
